Faith = Favor

When you think of faith, what is the first thing that comes to mind? Why? Well when I think of faith I think of favor, think about it, everyone in the bible that had faith, had favor in return, David, the woman with the issue of blood, Moses and more.

These people chose to have faith and because they chose to have faith, they got favor in return...

David- was it not by faith in God that David believed he would beat Goliath? Samuel 17:45 "David said to the Philistine, “You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied".

Although David was standing in the midst of a giant, he still had faith in God that he would put Goliath to defeat, and because he had faith he was favored 50 "So David triumphed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone; without a sword in his hand he struck down the Philistine and killed him."

The woman with the issue of blood-

Luke 8:43-44 "And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any...

44 Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched".

She believed that she would be healed just by touching Jesus' garment and because of this she was made whole.

Moses- The Israelite's (Gods people) were in slavery be the Egyptians for four hundred and God said that he had a promise land for his people, on the day it was time to escape from the Egyptians, they came face to face with problem, the Red Sea, although the some of Israelite's had there doubts, Moses did not and because God keeps his promises and Moses had faith the sea split apart, God had favor in Moses.

Prayer Of The Day

In Jesus' name, Lord help me to always have faith in you and have doubt far from my mind, help me to believe in your works so that you may have favor in me. In Jesus' name. Amen.
