Easy and Meaningful Ways To Lend a Helping Hand

Everyone could use a helping hand, even if they might not say they do. Lets always try to put our best foot forward and help others, lend a helping hand. In the Bible, we learn that Jesus always did the right thing, no matter the cost. We are to learn from His ways and do the same. Below I will be listening to some simple ways to lend a helping hand.

Taking Care For The Sick

One of the ways to show that you care is by helping an ill family member, neighbor, or friend. Sending them a card or serving them food, even cracking a joke and making them smile can do just the thing. When you care for someone you do it from the heart.

Prayer For a Person(s) in Need

Always put someone's needs before yours, it is very impactful to pray for family, friends, the church, and others. To show that you really care for others, include them in your daily prayers, and bring the matter to God.

Taking Part In A Donation

Another way to show love is by donating, whatever it may be clothes, food, utensils, etc. It may look like nothing in your eyes but others may see it as a breakthrough. A donation can also save ones life and change their perspective about life.

Although there are endless ways to show acts kindness, these are just some minor things we can try doing around our neighborhood, homes and communities. Show acts of kindness and love.

Prayer Of The Day

Lord Jesus, help me to represent myself as a citizen of Heaven, help me to show acts of kindness like Jesus did. Let me put all my needs away and learn to give cheerfully to others from the heart. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
